Whole-body strength
Each session activates chest, back, abs, lower back, glutes, thighs and arms simultaneously. A balanced strength gain, particularly useful for reinforcing muscle groups that are usually under-trained.
In 25 minutes a week, the muscle stimulus is comparable to roughly 90 minutes of conventional training. The first effects are felt from session 5. Visible and measurable results after about 8 weeks.
Each session activates chest, back, abs, lower back, glutes, thighs and arms simultaneously. A balanced strength gain, particularly useful for reinforcing muscle groups that are usually under-trained.
The intensity of the stimulus increases energy expenditure during and after the session. Combined with sound nutrition, it supports body fat reduction and recomposition.
The deep muscle contraction induced by the electrodes reaches fibres that voluntary training rarely engages in such a short window. Increased muscle density, more defined contours.
The combination of deep muscle contraction and microcirculation activation contributes to improved skin texture in commonly affected areas. It's not a miracle — it's the cumulative effect over several weeks.
EMS strengthens the deep abdominal and lumbar core muscles — key to postural stability and back-pain prevention. In mild chronic lower-back pain, frequency and intensity tend to decrease within a few weeks.
Discovering the sensation. No results yet — it's training, not magic.
Muscle adaptation. Some good soreness the next day is possible.
First effects: more firmness, better posture, a feeling of being "more active".
Visible and measurable results: more defined contours, smaller measurements, relief of any nagging pain.
Consolidation. Maintenance frequency (1 session/week) is generally enough.
These milestones are an average observed across more than 1000 clients since 2020. Individual response varies with age, starting fitness, nutrition and sleep.
Beyond the five direct effects, two benefits come up regularly with BODYFIT clients that don't usually appear in EMS marketing copy:
EMS isn't about "letting the current do the work". The client performs real strength-training movements for 25 minutes. Stimulation amplifies voluntary effort — it doesn't replace it.
What the client feels is not electricity in the sense of a shock or a burn. It's a deep muscle vibration, a contraction more or less intense depending on the setting.
EMS is not primarily a method to "lose weight on the scale". It's a method to recompose the body — gain active muscle mass, reduce fat, improve posture.
The simplest way to know if EMS is right for you is to try it. First session free, no commitment.
