The method · MIHA BODYTEC

Electrical muscle
stimulation in Lisbon.

EMS activates the major muscle groups simultaneously through a tech suit, while you perform movements guided by the trainer. In 25 minutes, the muscle stimulus is comparable to roughly 90 minutes of conventional training.

What it is

Training assisted
by impulses.

During an EMS session, the client wears a tech suit fitted with electrodes placed over the major muscle groups: chest, back, abs, lower back, glutes, thighs and arms.

The device sends controlled electrical impulses that trigger muscle contractions simultaneously across the targeted muscles, while the client performs classic strength-training movements guided by the trainer.

The result is far greater muscle activation than a conventional workout in the same time window. According to internal data from manufacturer MIHA BODYTEC, 25 minutes of EMS produce an effect comparable to roughly 90 minutes of traditional strength training — measured by total muscle stimulus.

Who it's for

Four profiles
that benefit most.

A

Time-poor professionals

25-minute sessions, 1 to 2 times a week, no long commute to a gym.

B

People with joint sensitivity

Knees, back, shoulders — because muscle stimulus is generated by the electrical impulse, with reduced external loads that spare the joints.

C

Body recomposition

Fat loss, toning, core and pelvic floor strengthening.

D

Amateur athletes

Strength and power gains in the off-season, complementing your main sport.

Frequency

1 session a week
is enough.

  • Beginners — 1 session per week for the first 4 to 6 weeks
  • Maintenance — 1 session per week, ongoing
  • Fast results / athletes — 2 sessions per week, with at least 48 hours between them
  • More than 2 sessions per week — not recommended: muscle tissue needs recovery time to respond to the stimulus
Safety first

Official MIHA BODYTEC
contraindications.

Before the first session, every client fills in and signs the official MIHA BODYTEC contraindications questionnaire. It's our guarantee that training is safe for you.
